A: If we can’t find your name in the Roster, you will either be sent to the correct polling place if you are at the wrong site, or you will vote provisionally.

Remove Family Member from Voter RollA: There is no waiting time. As soon as you become a Kern County resident you can register to vote. You are eligible to vote in any election after 15 days from the date you registered. Click on the link below.
Register to VoteA: If you are under 18 you can Pre-register. In order to pre-register you must be 16 or 17 years old and meet all other registration requirements. Pre-RegistrationA: If you do not want to belong to any political party, mark “no party preference”. If you want to belong to a party that is not on the list, mark ‘Other’ and print the name of the qualified political party of your choice on the blank line.

Political Party PreferenceA: A No Party Preference (NPP) ballot contains only the names of candidates for voter-nominated offices and local nonpartisan offices and measures. For a presidential election, NPP voters will receive a “non-partisan” ballot that does not include presidential candidates. No Party PreferenceA: BY law we are required to give voter information to candidates, ballot measure committees, other persons for election, scholarly, journalistic, political, or governmental purpose. Items that remain confidential and are never provided to anyone are your social security number, your driver’s license number, and your signature.

If you have more than one voter registration with different information you WILL get multiple jury summons. If your voter registration is different than your DMV information you WILL get multiple jury summons. If you moved out of the county and have not updated your voter registration you will continue to get jury summons from Kern County.
