ADOPT-A-POLL

Do you belong to a business, non-profit, club, or organization that wants to serve the community and raise money? Consider the Adopt-A-Poll program!

Your organization would "adopt" the poll site by taking over and providing the full staff for a precinct table. You will need a team leader to serve as Supervisor/Inspector and 4-6 people to serve as Clerks.

Both poll workers and volunteers in the Adopt-A-Poll program must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be a US citizen
  • Be available between 6 AM and approximately 9:30 PM on Election Day

Your volunteers will attend training, and they have the option of donating their stipend check to your organization. The group must not be politically affiliated.

If your organization has more people that are interested in participating, you can adopt more than one poll site.
